Babies!!!
Rileigh & Taylor entered the world this past Weds. @ approx. 7:30 a.m. Rileigh weighed in @ 5 lb. 1 oz. & her sister, Taylor was 4 lb. 5 oz. We were there anxiously waiting & I got to see the babies up close & personal around 9 a.m. when they were in their incubators (or whatever they call them - they're heated bassinet things). Mom Lesley did great (no C-sec! -- she deserves a medal!) & Dad Andy looked awestruck & a bit in shock... We're going over there in a couple hours; made some lasagna for their first dinner home. I thought they were leaving the hospital yesterday, but they just got home a little bit ago with both babies -- they originally thought Taylor would have to stay longer to get her weight up. So maybe she did; I suppose she could have gained 7 oz. in 3 1/2 days... oh well, enough baby talk for now... I'll go finish my book.
W.O.W.: Enjoy the miracles of Life that are all around you: babies, puppies, kittens, sunshine, blue sky, not having to work on the weekend, & whatever else fills you with wonder & happiness.
Love & Light to you who wander this way,
Enna

Oh congrats. Babies are so wonderful. Judi
ryc: Yeah, It's so crazy the irrational fears we feel after an event that was so uncontrollable, and ultimately an "accident" Our fight or flight response kicks into gear to avoid it from happening again everytime we confront situations even remotely similiar to those which caused our accident. I know I have become obsessed with picking up dropped objects people leave on the floor (pen's, napkins, etc) at school. Because someone could trip on them. I avoid the cracks on the sidewalk, even tho i know it's irrational and unlikely that I would fall again. I have caught myself offbalance a few times since it happened and everytime I cringe inside because I start to fear deforming myself in another way....but I know that eventually these fears will go away, and my comfort levels will rise and I'll do all the things I want to do. And this will happen for you too, because it happened with my broken leg. I now confront winters head on...with yaktraax. I forget if you live in the north but if you need to walk on ice/snow i totally recommend yaktrax for piece of mind ( i fell on ice when i broke my leg.
Good luck with the rest of your healing! I don't remember if I recommended this guy to you or not but I recommend an author named Pete Egoscue ( i think it's pete) he has great excersizes to help get your body all back in alignment!
good luck!

ryc - I wish there were some people in my life too. I'd settle for average ones at this point.
