• still haven't heard back from where I interviewed over 2 wks ago -- what happened to "customer service"?  I wouldn't dream of interviewing someone, then letting this much time go by... perhaps I really don't want to work there if this is a reflection of how they work.  I'm on vacation this week so I'll call Monday to see what's up with them...

  
  

  this is going to be a "working" vacation for me - I have to clean out my house where I used to live, & where the kids were renting, then put it up for sale.  I keep hoping for a miracle so I don't have to sell the house... this will be a cathartic process for me, though, so along with getting rid of junk I don't need I'll be spilling many tears... who knows? maybe I'll own the place again some day... there's something sacred & very special about that land...
